Comprehensive Database of Cadmium Pollution in Chinese Vegetables and Human Health Risks (CVCCD)

The Chinese Vegetable Cadmium Contamination Database (CVCCD) is an interactive, offline-capable web platform for exploring cadmium (Cd) pollution in Chinese vegetables and the associated human health risks. This release contains 2,541 field-sourced records from Chinese dryland vegetable production systems spanning 2004–2025 across 28 provinces, with 37 fields covering soil properties (soil Cd, pH, SOM, CEC), vegetable Cd contamination, the bioconcentration factor (BCF), and Target Hazard Quotient (THQ)-based health risks for urban/rural and male/female population groups. The archive contains the full dataset (Comprehensive_Database_Field_Dryland_ONLY 补充2022-2026数据.xlsx) and CVCCD.html, an interactive platform (Chart.js) featuring multi-criteria filtering, keyword search, real-time statistics, and dynamic visualizations of regional soil–vegetable Cd relationships, BCF by vegetable category, temporal trends, and provincial THQ risk comparisons.
