These 2 data files contain the TEX86 and UK'37 sea surface temperature proxy data from Ocean Drilling Program Site 1168, covering the Eocene to recent (35–0 Ma). These were updated compared to previous versions. In order to comply with FAIR open science principles and from recommendations in the community (e.g., https://doi.org/10.5194/bg-22-6465-2025) we here add metadata on the samples: sample IDs, depth types, age source, weights of sediment extracted, amount of C46 standard added to the GDGT samples (in ng/g), C46 standard peak areas.本数据集包含两份数据文件，收录了大洋钻探计划（Ocean Drilling Program, ODP）1168站位的TEX86与UK'37海表温度代用指标数据，时间覆盖范围为始新世至现代（35–0 Ma）。相较于此前发布的版本，本数据集已完成更新。为遵循FAIR开放科学原则，并响应学界相关建议（例如：https://doi.org/10.5194/bg-22-6465-2025），本次更新补充了样本相关元数据，包括样本编号、沉积深度类型、年代来源、提取沉积物的质量、添加至GDGT（甘油二烷基甘油四醚，Glycerol Dialkyl Glycerol Tetraethers）样品中的C46内标含量（单位：ng/g）以及C46内标的峰面积。
