This dataset includes the chemical and isotopic compositions of water from five watersheds in southwestern Greenland that form a transect extending from the edge of the Greenland Ice Sheet (GrIS) to the coast. Water sampled from these watersheds include supraglacial streams and the weathering crust aquifer at the edge of the GrIS, a proglacial stream that mostly drains glacial meltwater, near ice deglaciated watersheds, and near coast deglaciated watersheds. Samples were collected from one to several sites in each watershed. The data are organized geographically in the spreadsheet from watersheds at the ice edge to the coast and from upstream to downstream where multiple locations were sampled within the watersheds. Samples were collected starting soon after flow began as snow melted in the spring through mid-August over two years (2022 and 2023). The data include various field parameters, major and trace element concentrations, and the oxygen and hydrogen isotopic composition of the water.
