The Prophet

Manuscript in red and black ink in Edmund Blunden's hand. Corrections in black in and blue pencil. The poem was published in 'Masks of Time' (1925) and in 'Undertones of War' (1928). The poem was completed sometime after the war, but was begun sometime in 1917.

本手稿为埃德蒙·布伦登（Edmund Blunden）亲笔手书，以红黑墨水书写，附带黑墨水与蓝铅笔批注。该诗歌曾刊载于《时间的假面》（1925）与《战争的余响》（1928）两部出版物中。此诗作于1917年动笔，直至战后某一时间方才完成。
