Laboratory study on the frost-proof performance of a novel earth dam in seasonally frozen regions

The data set includes the variations of ambient temperature, soil temperature, volumetric unfrozen water content and deformation of the earth dam cases (i.e., case 1 with TPCTs and case 2 without TPCTs) during the freezing-thawing processes.
