Interaction between wood extractives and fibres

This data set includes  concentration measurements of wood extractives  from  pinus radiata thermomechnical pulp obtained from Norske Skog Paper Mill in Tasmania. The concentrations were measured using gas chromatography. A Varian CP-3800 gas chromatograph fitted with a Varian CP-8400 auto sampler and a flame ionisation detector was used. On-column injection with variable temperature ramping was used with a Zebron 1 column.  The format of the data is Excel spreadsheets.  GC chromatographs of the raw data in Varian data file format are available. The data set also includes measurements of the interaction of the wood extractives and dissolved wood organics with each other and also fibre and bentonite surfaces.  The data set also includes particle size distributions of the wood extractives and bentonite. A Micromeritics Saturn Digisizer 5200 laser particle size analyser (LPSA) was used for the particle size analysis. The data set also includes measurements of the zeta potential and conductivity of solutions of wood extractives and bentonite. A Malvern Nano ZS Zetasizer was used. The format of the data is Excel spreadsheets.  The data set also includes scatter plots obtained using a Partek CyFlow SL flow cytometer measuring the fluoresence of wood extractive and bentonite particles. AcsiFlow software was used to generate hydrophobicity plots. All data in this data set was collected between Feb 2012 - Dec 2015.  There are lab notebooks documenting procedures and some of the data

本数据集涵盖源自塔斯马尼亚诺斯克司克造纸厂（Norske Skog Paper Mill）的辐射松（Pinus radiata）热磨机械浆中木材提取物的浓度测定数据。浓度测定采用气相色谱（Gas Chromatography, GC）法完成，所用设备为搭载瓦里安（Varian）CP-8400自动进样器与火焰离子化检测器的瓦里安CP-3800气相色谱仪。进样方式采用柱上进样，配合可变程序升温，色谱柱使用Zebron 1型毛细管柱。
本数据集的数据格式为Excel电子表格。原始数据的气相色谱图谱以瓦里安数据文件格式存储，可单独获取。
数据集还包含木材提取物与溶解态木材有机物之间，以及二者与纤维、膨润土表面的相互作用测定结果；同时包含木材提取物与膨润土的粒度分布数据，粒度分析采用Micromeritics Saturn Digisizer 5200激光粒度分析仪（Laser Particle Size Analyser, LPSA）完成。
此外，数据集收录了木材提取物与膨润土溶液的zeta电位及电导率测定数据，所用设备为马尔文（Malvern）Nano ZS Zetasizer电位粒度仪。另有使用Partek CyFlow SL流式细胞仪测定木材提取物与膨润土颗粒荧光特性所得的散点图数据，相关疏水性图谱通过AcsiFlow软件生成。
本数据集所有数据采集于2012年2月至2015年12月期间，另有配套实验记录手册对实验流程与部分数据进行了归档说明。
