Dataset resulting from a national survey conducted by the Portuguese Network of Data Stewards (RPDS)

This dataset results from a national survey conducted by the Portuguese Network of Data Stewards (RPDS), coordinated by the Re.Data Consortium. The purpose of the survey was to identify professionals involved in Research Data Management (RDM) in Portugal, characterise their roles and institutional contexts, and understand training needs, available competencies, and challenges faced in their daily practice. Because the role of Data Steward varies considerably across institutions, the survey aimed to map existing profiles and support the development of a national community of practice. All professionals with RDM-related responsibilities were invited to participate, and respondents were also encouraged to join the RPDS.本数据集源自葡萄牙数据管理人员网络（Portuguese Network of Data Stewards, RPDS）开展的一项全国性调研，该调研由Re.Data联盟统筹协调。本次调研的核心目标为：识别葡萄牙境内从事研究数据管理（Research Data Management, RDM）的专业人员，梳理其岗位角色与所属机构背景，同时了解其日常工作中的培训需求、现有能力及面临的各类挑战。由于不同机构中数据管理人员（Data Steward）的岗位职能差异显著，本次调研旨在勾勒现有岗位画像，并助力构建全国性的实践共同体。所有承担研究数据管理相关职责的专业人员均受邀参与本次调研，同时鼓励受访者加入葡萄牙数据管理人员网络（RPDS）。
