资源简介:
Very limited research has been done to assess enhanced rock weathering (ERW) potential in grasslands. The UK alone has approximately 11 000 hectares of grassland, which is much greater than the UK's total cropland area. To assess ERW's potential in grassland, soil and plant data were collected over time to characterise potential co-benefits, risks, and CDR by applying basalt to a mildly acidic grassland in the UK.Data includes:ammonium acetate soil extraction from upper 10 cm across timeOlsen-P soil extractions from upper 10 cm across timehot water soil extractions from upper 10 cm across timeabove ground biomass measurements across timeannual hay cut yield, nutritional, and ICPMS + pXRF elemental analysis across two yearsfloristic analysis 3 and 15 months after basalt amendment
