Global risk of deadly heat data subset [90th percentile]

The data contained within this repository are a subset of the data used for the Global risk of deadly heat research paper, available at https://doi.org/10.1038/nclimate3322. The dataset was compiled through searching available online databases for peer-reviewed publications on heat-related mortality published between 1980 and 2014 to identify 1,949 case studies of cities or regions where excess mortality was associated with high tempreatures. A full description of methods can be found in the associated Global risk of deadly heat paper.
