Confidence intervals in brackets below earnings are those of mean monthly earnings in Peruvian Soles. p-Values represent the difference in earnings between treatment stages by Student's t-test. From left to right, data and p-values correspond to all patients, patients with non-MDR TB, and patients with MDR TB. In addition to the p-values shown in the table, there was also a significant difference between the intensive and continuation treatment phases in all patients (ppp = 0.1).
