资源简介:
This dataset contains data that were collected via a study app as part of the study Affect Sensing from Keystroke Dynamics? The Benchmark makes the Difference by Paul Freihaut, Marcel E. K. F. Holzer, and Anja S. Göritz. In a longitudinal field study spanning 10 days, 52 participants completed 2,377 valid instances of data collection in which they typed a standardized password-like string and reported their valence and arousal state on a continuous scale ranging from 0 to 100.While participants worked on the typing task, the app logged the key code (e.g. backspace), if any key was pushed (key-down event), or released (key-up event) alongside the timestamp and the current trial number. Additionally, sociodemographic data (age, gender, occupation, nationality) were obtained. The sample was made up of participants recruited via personal contacts, social media as well as psychology students, who took part in the study in exchange for course credit. No participant received payment or a material reward for their participation. Most participants reported to be women, younger than 30 years and of German nationality. Participants could install a German or English version of the study app. The app was available for Windows 10 and MacOS.
