Incubation of Neisseria gonorrhoeae 1291 with human polymorphonuclear leukocyte cells

These experiments examined the transcriptomic response of N. gonorrhoeae 1291 to incubation with human PMNs under three different timepoints, 10 minutes, 180 minutes and 360 minutes. Overall design: Neisseria gonorrhoeae 1291 was incubated with human PMNs for 10 minutes, 180 minutes or 360 minutes. The 10 minute timepoint was examined with two biological replicates while the 180 minute and 360 minute were examined with four biological replicates. After each incubation RNA was collected and sequenced to determine the transcriptome of N. gonorrhoeae as it responds to incubations with PMNs.
