A band saw blade (10) having a continuous band portion with a back side (11) and a toothed side (12) and with a working direction (WD)， primarily for sawing isolation material of mineral wool， the blade (10) at its toothed side (12) having teeth (T 1-Tn) in which each tooth (Tn) having a toothface (TF1-TFn) and a toothback (TB1-TBn) with respective angles α and β， and that tooth gullets (G1-Gn) are located between each tooth (Tn)， wherein each tooth (Tn) is provided with a double tip of which one tip is a leading tip (LTn) and of which the other is a trailing tip (TTn) and between which tips of the double tip of each tooth there is a tip gullet (TGn).
