Critical patients with corona disease have severe coughing, shortness of breath and sore throat, in most cases they cannot breathe on their own. Then they need artificial respiration through a ventilator. The ventilator works to carry oxygen and emit carbon dioxide to the patient's lungs. But the number of ventilators in Bangladesh is less than required. Emergency Ventilator has been created to solve the problem of this ventilator crisis in the country. Emergency Ventilator which is made with very low cost indigenous technology and which is also very easy and safe to operate. This ventilator has been redesigned following the model of Emergency-Ventilator developed by the world renowned MIT in Corona.
罹患冠状病毒疾病的重症患者会出现剧烈咳嗽、呼吸急促与咽喉疼痛症状,多数患者无法自主呼吸,需借助呼吸机(ventilator)实施人工通气。呼吸机的功能是为患者肺部供氧并排出二氧化碳。但孟加拉国的呼吸机数量难以满足需求。为解决该国的呼吸机危机,研发团队开发了应急呼吸机(Emergency Ventilator)。该设备采用低成本本土技术制造,操作极为简便且安全可靠。这款应急呼吸机参照全球知名的麻省理工学院(MIT)在新冠疫情期间开发的应急呼吸机模型完成了重新设计。
