HLY-08-01 DMSP Satellite Images. Version 1.0

This dataset includes images from the Defense Meteorological Satellites Program (DMSP) satellites. The images are from the satellite passes that occurred over the Bering Sea, onboard the US Coast Guard Cutter Healy during the Bering Sea Ecosystem Study-Bering Sea Integrated Ecosystem Research Program (BEST-BSIERP) 2008 0801 (early spring) cruise. BEST-BSIERP together are the Bering Sea project. The images are from the F12, F13, F14, F15, F16 and F17 satellites and include 1 km visible, 4 km visible and Infrared (IR), and total ice products and are in jpeg format.

本数据集包含来自国防气象卫星计划（Defense Meteorological Satellites Program, DMSP）的卫星影像。这些影像为2008年0801（初春）科考航次期间，美国海岸警卫队"希利"号破冰船在白令海空域执行白令海生态系统研究-白令海综合生态系统研究计划（Bering Sea Ecosystem Study-Bering Sea Integrated Ecosystem Research Program, BEST-BSIERP）任务时获取的卫星过境影像。BEST-BSIERP整体即为白令海项目的官方名称。本次数据集采用的卫星包括F12、F13、F14、F15、F16及F17号卫星，数据涵盖1千米分辨率可见光、4千米分辨率可见光、红外（Infrared, IR）及海冰总量产品，格式均为JPEG。
