Bullseye Gravimeter Deployed 2009-09-19

The Seafloor Compliance (SFC) was deployed on 2009-09-19 at Bullseye. Bullseye is a location at Clayoquot Slope, where gas hydrates, seafloor cold seeps, and hydrate dynamics are observed. This device is a Gravimeter. Gravimeters (or gravity meters) measure the gravity field of the Earth with such a resolution that they can detect very small changes in the underlying or surrounding structures. It was deployed on a fixed platform. Data from this deployment were archived and made available through Ocean Networks Canada's Oceans 2.0 digital infrastructure, with quality assurance and derived data products following established practices.

海底顺应性观测系统（Seafloor Compliance, SFC）于2009年9月19日部署于靶心站位（Bullseye）。该站位位于克莱奥夸特斜坡（Clayoquot Slope），区域内已观测到天然气水合物、海底冷泉及水合物动力学现象。本设备为重力仪（Gravimeter），重力仪（亦称重力计）可通过极高分辨率测量地球重力场，能够探测地下及周边构造的极微小变化。该设备部署于固定观测平台之上。本次部署获取的数据已完成归档，并通过加拿大海洋网络（Ocean Networks Canada）的Oceans 2.0数字基础设施对外公开共享，所有数据均遵循既定规范开展质量管控，并衍生出配套数据产品。
