Aboveground primary production on fire frequency treatments

Data set contains estimates of standing crop biomass (grams per square meter) of living graminoids, forbs, and woody plants, current year's dead, and previous year's dead vegetation for 2 soil types (shallow and deep) and various burning-grazing treatments. Estimates made in mid- April, mid-July, and November from 1983-1988 but only at peak standing crop biomass starting in 1989. Twenty quadrats (0.1 square meters) are harvested for each soil/treatment type. In addition, standing crop biomass on watersheds 001a and 020a was taken bi-weekly from 1984 to 1999, and then taken at peak standing biomass starting in 2000. Standing crop biomass of current year’s dead was combined into living graminoids starting in 2002.本数据集包含两种土壤类型（浅型与深型）及多种火烧-放牧处理下，活体禾草类植物（graminoids）、非禾本科草本植物（forbs）、木本植物（woody plants）、当年枯植被与上年枯植被的现存量（standing crop biomass，单位：克/平方米）估算值。1983年至1988年的采样估算于每年4月中旬、7月中旬及11月开展，1989年起仅在现存量峰值期进行采样。每个土壤-处理组合设置20个样方（0.1平方米）进行收割采样。此外，1984年至1999年期间，研究人员对编号为001a与020a的集水区每两周开展一次现存量采样，2000年起改为仅在现存量峰值期采样。2002年起，当年枯植被的现存量被并入活体禾草类植物生物量统计范畴。
