Gravel-Bed Mobilities and Microtopographies for Streams across England and Wales

Data and tools used to quantify sediment transport thresholds (dimensionless critical shear stress, Tau*c) for n=45 upland gravel bedded rivers in England and Wales. The data stored in this repository include: (1) pointcloud data constraining riverbed microtopography for the studied gravel patches; (2) field distributions of grain resistance force, weight and size; (3) code for estimating Tau*c from field distributions using Monte Carlo sampling.本数据集及配套工具用于量化英格兰与威尔士境内45条高地砾石床河流的泥沙输运阈值——该阈值为无量纲临界切应力（dimensionless critical shear stress, Tau*c）。本数据仓库所存储的数据包括： 1. 用于约束研究中砾石斑块河床微地形的点云数据（pointcloud data）； 2. 颗粒阻力、重量与粒径的野外实测分布； 3. 依托野外实测分布、通过蒙特卡洛采样（Monte Carlo sampling）估算Tau*c的代码。
