This dataset is part of the Geographical repository maintained by Opendatasoft. This dataset contains data for states and territories in Australia. State and Territory (S/T) are spatial units representing the geographic extent of Australia. Jervis Bay Territory, the Territories of Christmas Island, Cocos (Keeling) Islands and Norfolk Island are included as one spatial unit at the State and Territory level under the category of Other Territories. Processors and tools are using this data. Enhancements Add ISO 3166-3 codes. Simplify geometries to provide better performance across the services.
