Community Awareness and Use of Antibiotics and the Risk of Antibiotic Resistance in Mahuta Community, Nigeria

This study examines the level of community awareness and patterns of antibiotic use among residents of Mahuta community in Nigeria, and how these practices contribute to the risk of antibiotic resistance. A cross-sectional survey was conducted to assess knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors related to antibiotic use. The findings aim to highlight gaps in public awareness and provide recommendations for improving antibiotic stewardship and preventing the spread of antimicrobial resistance.

本研究聚焦尼日利亚马胡塔社区居民的社区认知水平、抗生素使用模式，并分析此类行为对抗生素耐药性风险的影响。本次研究采用横断面调查（cross-sectional survey）方法，对与抗生素使用相关的知识、态度与行为进行评估。研究结果旨在揭示公众认知方面的不足，并为优化抗生素管理（antibiotic stewardship）、防范抗菌药物耐药性（antimicrobial resistance）的传播提供参考建议。
