Exposure to volatile organic compounds and experience confusion/memory problems

This study utilized data from the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES, 2011–2018, Pre-pandemic data) to investigate associations between urinary volatile organic compound (VOC) metabolites and self-reported cognitive decline. The analysis included 4,207 participants, among whom 356 reported confusion or memory problems.
