Tasmanian seamount Hill U: benthic imagery and annotations from a towed camera survey on RV Investigator voyage IN2018_V06, Tasmania, Australia (2018)

Benthic Stereo still imagery was collected during the MNF Investigator voyage IN2018_V06, sampling seamounts off Tasmania. Within measured quadrats random points (5per m2) were annotated for substrate classes including matrix-forming stony coral, and counts of VME indicator taxa were performed to result in density measures. This is the data for one seamount, Hill U.

本数据集的底栖立体静态影像（benthic stereo still imagery）采集自海洋国家设施（Marine National Facility, MNF）“考察者号”（Investigator）航次IN2018_V06，该航次对塔斯马尼亚周边海山开展了采样调查。在实测样方内，以每平方米5个的密度布设随机点位，对底质类型（包括造礁石珊瑚）完成标注，并对脆弱海洋生态系统（Vulnerable Marine Ecosystem, VME）指示类群开展计数以获取密度测量值。本数据集对应单座海山U山（Hill U）。
