This dataset contains raw data and molecular files produced as a result of the scientific project entitled "<i>Unveiling true biodeterioration potential of aerial algae colonizing building materials in a temperate climate zone via integrated morphological, molecular, physiological and metabolomics approach</i>" - part one; aerial algae diversity with morphological, molecular approach on their growth potential and its relevance to the biodeterioration process.Raw data contains: (1) environmental details and strains diversity at each sampling site (sampling sites and species.xlsx);(2) measurements of cell dimensions of algal morphotypes (morphometrics.xlsx), the names of taxa can be found in (1) file;(3) concentration of chlorophyll a on brick (B) and plaster (P) substrates after one, three and six months of algal strains cultivation in laboratory (L) and environmental conditions (E) (Cchla.xlsx); taxa names in (1) file;(4) measurements of chlorophyll fluorescence intensity inside and at the surface of brick (B) and plaster (P) substrates after three and six months of algal strains cultivation in laboratory (L) and environmental conditions (E) (chlFI.xlsx); taxa names in (1) file;(5) measurements of the total height of the substrate profile at the surface of brick (B) and plaster (P) substrates after three and six months of algal strains cultivation in laboratory (L) and environmental conditions (E) (Profile high.xlsx); taxa names in (1) file;Molecular files contain:(6-10) an alignment files of concatenated markers specified in title used in phylogenetic analysis in fasta format ([..].filo.fasta/txt.log);(11-15) phylogenetic tree files of Maximum Likelyhood analyses (ML_[...]filo.fasta.contree);(16-20) phylogenetic tree files of Bayesian Inference analyses (BI_[...]nex.con.tree);(21-25) an alignment files of concatenated markers specified in title used in phylogenetic analysis in nexus format ([..].nex);<br><br>
