**Supply, in xml format, inventories of climate archives of the Interregional Directorate of New Caledonia.** Meteo-France maintains its climate archives to ensure its missions of conservation of the memory of the climate and scientific characterisation of the past and future climate. These consist mainly of meteorological observations collected in metropolitan, ultramarine or former French colonies, and documentation on meteorological stations, observation techniques and measuring instruments, since the creation of the first French meteorological service in 1855. Weather-France offers access to these funds through a website that makes available several thousand descriptive inventory records and offers access to some of these archives in digital form (JPEG or PDF format).
