Gay Community Periodic Survey: Melbourne 2007

The ninth Melbourne Gay Community Periodic Survey was a cross-sectional survey of gay and homosexually active men recruited through a range of gay community sites in Melbourne.Data was collected on types of sexual relationships and number of partners, anal and oral intercourse, unprotected anal intercourse, testing for HIV and other STIs, HIV serostatus, recreational drug use, and demographic characteristics such as sexual identity and age. Method of Data Collection: Self-completion. Sampling Procedures: Men were recruited through sites: gay community venues, gay sex-on-premises venues, gay men’s sexual health clinics and Midsumma Carnival. Kind of Data: Survey.
