Data and code for: When and why quantum-inspired optimization works for building-renewable energy scheduling: structural evidence from an equal-budget comparison

Complete code, EnergyPlus ground-truth data (Chicago and Tampa), identified surrogate parameters, and all 103,559 logged optimization runs for the equal-budget structural comparison of quantum-inspired optimizers (SQA, MF-QAOA, QIEA) against classical baselines (SA, GA, tabu search, BPSO, rule-based control) and a MILP reference, for day-ahead scheduling of a residential building-renewable energy system. Includes the full reproduction pipeline; see README.md inside the archive. EnergyPlus 26.1.0 (not redistributed) is required and available at https://energyplus.net.
