Spatio-Temporal Assessment of Groundwater Storage under Flood Conditions using Downscaled GRACE Data

The remote sensing datasets for the year 2010 used in this study include GRACE CSR RL-06 for Terrestrial Water Storage Anomaly (TWSA); FLDAS for temperature, precipitation, soil moisture storage (SMS), evapotranspiration (ET), canopy water storage (CWS), and surface runoff (Qs); and SRTM DEM for topographic variables such as slope, elevation, and aspect. These datasets were used to downscale the GRACE observations to a fine spatial resolution (0.01°) by integrating various hydrological and geospatial variables through machine learning models. The downscaled results were validated against the constructed monthly ground-based measurements.
