Zaleucus

Zaleucus was son of a shepherd and had been enslaved, after being educated he became loved by his fellow-citizens and started giving them laws. Symbol of justice, Zaleucus made a law in order to punish adulterous people. His son had been condemned for the father's law and he is condemned into cutting his ear.扎莱库斯（Zaleucus）为牧羊人之子，曾沦为奴隶。其接受教化后深受同胞爱戴，遂开始为城邦订立律法。作为正义的象征，扎莱库斯曾颁布法令惩治通奸者。然而其子因触犯父亲所定的此项律法而被定罪，最终被处以割耳之刑。
