Effluent Dilution Studies, Cronulla Sewage Treatment Plant and Potter Point (2003 - 2007)

Tertiary treatment was introduced at the Cronulla STP in July 2001, which significantly increased the residence time and recirculation of effluent within the plant, resulting in an increase in the final effluent stream dilution. Tritium activity was observed in daily composite samples from the UV Inlet.
