2000-2021年全球极端天气事件灾害损失数据集是基于全球灾害数据平台（GDDAT）等数据库的相关数据，结合历史气象数据、媒体数据，对极端天气气候灾害事件损失进行量化分析的数据集。 其中，全球灾害数据平台（GDDAT）由应急管理部-教育部减灾与应急管理研究院、中国灾害防御协会、应急管理部国家减灾中心共同创办，涵盖了全球灾害实况、重大灾害、灾害评估报告、灾害特征分析、中国灾害数据库五大版块，以实现全球灾害实时数据采集与发布、全球灾害分析评估产品共享、为减轻灾害风险的相关研究提供数据和分析资料、为全球灾害风险管理提供决策支持。The Global Extreme Weather Event Disaster Loss Dataset spanning 2000 to 2021 is a dataset that conducts quantitative analysis of losses caused by extreme weather and climate disaster events, leveraging relevant data from databases including the Global Disaster Data Platform (GDDAT), alongside historical meteorological and media data. The Global Disaster Data Platform (GDDAT) was co-founded by three entities: the Institute of Disaster Reduction and Emergency Management jointly administered by the Ministry of Emergency Management and the Ministry of Education, the China Association for Disaster Prevention, and the National Disaster Reduction Center of the Ministry of Emergency Management. It encompasses five core sections: global disaster status, major disaster events, disaster assessment reports, disaster characteristic analysis, and the China Disaster Database. Its established objectives include real-time collection and release of global disaster data, sharing of global disaster analysis and assessment products, provision of data and analytical materials for relevant research on disaster risk reduction, and provision of decision support for global disaster risk management.
