Comtrade Medicinal and Aromatic Plants (MAPs) Statistics of Western Balkan Countries (WBCs), Central and Eastern European Countries (CEECs) and South-Eastern European Countries (SEECs) in a Comparative Perspective

These are pharmaceutical plants statistics of Western Balkan Countries (WBCs), Central and Eastern European Countries (CEECs) and South Eastern European Countries (SEECs) that were compiled from the COMTRADE database of the United Nations Statistics Division. In this context, external trade of the commodity groups (i.e. HS 1211 - Plants and Parts of Plants, [including seeds and fruits] of a kind used primarily in perfumery, in pharmacy or for insecticidal, fungicidal or similar purposes, fresh or dried, whether or not cut, crushed or powdered, and SITC.3 292.4 pharmaceutical plants) of WBCs (excluding Kosovo due to missing data), CEECs and SEECs were analyzed in frame of available data in COMTRADE database. This dataset consists of statistical data for the WBCs, CEECs and the SEECs for the period of 2013 to 2017. The COMTRADE Indicators consist of the import and export of MAPs products in the WBCs, CEECs and the SEECs. WBCs consist of Albania, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Kosovo, FYR Macedonia, Montenegro, and Serbia. Central and Eastern Europe Region covers the countries that namely are listed as such: Bulgaria, Croatia, Chekia, Estonia, Hungry, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia (11 EU Member States); and Albania, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Macedonia, Montenegro, and Serbia. South-Eastern Europe Region comprises the countries that namely are listed as follows: Albania, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, Kosovo, FYR Macedonia, Montenegro, and Serbia.
