Coffee farm soil mycobiomes

We characterized the fungal communities in soils collected from sites in Chiapas, Mexico under different coffee shade management regimes in addition to nearby undisturbed forest soils. We investigated shifts in fungal composition across site types in relation to the soil functional potential as measured by enzyme assays.
