Ovary transcriptome profiling of Xinong Saanen goats with PMSG treatment. Capra hircus

To assess the effects of repeated estrus synchronization (ES) on ovarian structure and function, we used 6 female Xinong Saanen dairy goats, randomly divided into two groups, and receive either thrice PMSG treatments at fortnight intervals or once PMSG treatment, the ovaries of each goats were collected and sequencing. Using RNA-Sequencing technology, the effects of repeated PMSG treatment on the goat ovary were investigated, some of the DEGs involved in hormone biosynthesis and secretion and follicular development.
