Western Canada Deformation Array

The Western Canada Deformation Array (WCDA) is a permanent Global Positioning System (GPS) and Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) Tracker Network established by the Geological Survey of Canada (GSC) of the Natural Resources Canada (NRCan). The network is used to investigate crustal deformation in southwestern British Columbia as part of a comprehensive multi-disciplinary study of seismic hazards in the region. The operations and management of the network were transferred to the Canadian Hazards Information Service (CHIS) of the NRCan in 2017. High-rate and standard 30-second sampled GNSS raw data files in RINEX formats are available from IGS global data centres.
