Patients with TB and moderate to profound hyponatremia episodes had a significantly higher all-cause mortality rate. After correcting for hyponatremia-related comorbidities (Table 1), the effect remains significant. A Cox regression model was calculated with hyponatremia groups and age as independent variables and reported as hazard ratio (HR) with a 95% confidence interval (95%LL, 95% UL) and p-value (H0: HR = 1).
