Navigating the complex and often volatile international businessenvironment requires Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) to continuously develop strongglobal leadership skills. The success of multinational organizations relies significantlyon the ability of their leaders to steer through the complexities and uncertainties ofglobal markets. This study aims to bridge the knowledge gap by identifying andanalyzing the essential global leadership competencies that contribute to the success ofCEOs operating in international business environments.Employing the Brand Guardianship Index from the Annual Report of theWorld's Top 100 CEOs as a metric for performance evaluation, this researchinvestigates the relationship between global leadership competencies and CEOperformance. The study delves into various dimensions of leadership, including theability to understand and adapt to global trends, the strategic implementation of globalactions, and the pivotal role of successful leadership competencies.
