Although they may look stylish and professional, there are concerns about the long-term effects of wearing high heels on the body, especially on the muscular strength of the abdominals and back extensors. The long-term effects of high heels on abdominal and back muscular strength can be significant, particularly among working women who wear them on a regular basis. The use of high heels can lead to weakened abdominal and back muscles, poor posture, and back pain. Ultimately, it is important for women to be aware of the potential health risks associated with high heel use and take steps to protect their musculoskeletal health.
