Callose Deposition Regulates Differences in Cotton Aphid Resistance among Six Watermelon Varietie

We assessed the resistance of six watermelon varieties based on the performance of cotton aphids and elucidated the underlying phloem-based defensive mechanisms behind the resistance/susceptibility of watermelon plants against cotton aphids.
