Sequencing of human iPS-derived motor neurons from fibroblasts of Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis patients with an M337V mutation in TARDBP and comparison with age matched healthy controls identify differences in glutamate receptor and mitochondrial calcium buffering channels. Overall design: Comparison of transcriptome between iPS-derived motor neurons from an ALS patient carrying an M337V mutation in TARDBP (3 clones) and age matched healthy controls from 3 independent differentiations. Motor neurons were differentiated for 30 days and RNA was extracted, RNA libraries prepared and sequenced.
