Independence of national justice systems in the EU. Topics: assessment of the national justice system in terms of the independence of courts and judges; importance of each of the following aspects with regard to the assessment: interference from government and politicians, interference from economic or other groups with specific interest, insufficient independence of status and position of judges; preference to attend a court hearing: in person, via video conferencing, both. Demography: age; sex; nationality; involvement in disputes that went to court in the last two years; age at end of education; occupation; professional position; type of community; own a mobile phone and fixed (landline) phone; household composition and household size.
