RNA-seq analysis after spinal cord injury in Xenopus laevis. Xenopus laevis

A spinal cord injury (SCI) is a type of traumatic injury that remains challenging to treat. Xenopus laevis, a tadpole, is fully capable of functionally recovering after SCI. It loses this capacity following its metamorphosis into a juvenile froglet. The aim of this project is to identify genes which are indispensable for recovery after SCI in Xenopus laevis (tadpole) and to investigate the efficacy of them in mouse SCI models.
