This dataset contains the highly charged beam current transients extracted from a Charge Breeder ECR Ion Source (CB-ECRIS) obtained via short pulse 1+ injection. <br> The 1+ injection currents were produced via thermal emission using a composite sodium/potassium pellet, which enabled switching between injected species without adjusting the CB-ECRIS parameters. <br> The experimental methodology is more fully described in the manuscript submitted for publication: Diagnostics of highly charged plasmas with multi-component 1+ ion injection. <br> The data consists of two datasets: <br> <strong>2021-09-28_39-K_41-K</strong> The transients of 39-K and 41-K. <br> <strong>2021-10-01_Na_K</strong> The transients of 23-Na and 39-K. <br> The charge state distributions extracted from the source during the experimental campaign are also included in the datasets.
