Thirty-day mortality among patients with acute delirium in the emergency department

a prospective cohort study in the ED of a tertiary care and university hospital. Patients over the age of 65 years who presented to the ED were included in the study. Our primary objective was to determine the 30-day mortality outcome between older patients with and without acute delirium.

本研究于某三级诊疗大学附属医院急诊室（Emergency Department, ED）开展一项前瞻性队列研究，纳入所有前往该急诊就诊的65岁以上患者。本研究的主要研究目标为对比伴与不伴急性谵妄的老年患者的30天死亡率结局。
