Part of a votive relief

This fragment was found in Oropos, in the sanctuary of Amphiaraos. The fragment preserves a naked hoplite with helmet and shield, jumping on a chario led by a charioteer. The epistyle preserves part of the dedicatory inscription. The relief probably formed the facing of the base of a dedication by a victor in the apobates race.该残件出土于奥罗波斯的安菲阿拉俄斯圣所。残件上保留有一位头戴头盔、手持盾牌的裸体希腊重装步兵（hoplite），正跃立于由御者驾驭的战车之上。额枋（epistyle）上留存有部分奉献铭文。这件浮雕大概率为某驾战车跳越赛（apobates race）获胜者所献奉献物的基座饰面。
