Description of the INSPIRE Download Service (predefined Atom): The quaternary map shows the spread of quaternary deposits and periglaciary layers over prequarter subsurfaces in Saarland. The map was developed based on the BÜK 100 and geological maps. Attribute fields: The Legend Units are described in detail in the explanatory text of the Quaternary Card. Data were imported into the GDZ and modeled there as values of the multi-feature class soil substrate, which consists of the flaky feature class GDZ2010.A_gysub, the punctual feature class GDZ2010.P_gysub and the business table with values (GDZ2010.gysub);
subsequently, the areas from GDZ2010.A_gysub were exported to the filegeodatabase GDZ_GDB with values for the substrate quaternary map for the Saarland viewing space.
