Dike improvement Eemshaven — Delfzijl (Structure Vision Eemsmond-Delfzijl)

This file contains the dike improvement Eemshaven — Delfzijl, as established in the Eemsmond-Delfzijl Structure Vision.
The dike between Eemshaven and Delfzijl is accelerated by the Noorderzijlvest Water Board. After that, the dike on this route meets the new safety standards and the dike is resistant to earthquakes, taking into account subsidences. Concretely, the goal is to increase and broaden the dike over the mentioned route and to partially renew the dike lining. Starting point is to start in 2017. The route south of Delfzijl to Nieuw-Statenzijl is planned between 2020 and 2028.
