2 h incubation of HeLa cell with 100% PEG capped gold nanoparticles

HeLa cells were incubated with 100% PEG capped gold nanoparticles for 2 h. The gold nanoparticles containing medium was then removed and cells were washed three times with warm 1 x PBS. The cells were then fixed and processed for TEM. Five cell sections were imaged (12 images).
