Gene expression (RNA-seq) in Alnus glutinosa roots after two or three days post-inoculation with Frankia alni and/or Phytophthora alni sp. alni.

We investigated how Alnus glutinosa roots respond when infected by the Frankia alni ACN14a symbiont ("Ag-Frankia"), the Phytophthora alni sp. alni PAA143 pathogen ("Ag-Phy"), or both ("Ag-Frankia-Phy"). Non-inoculated plant roots were also analysed as a control ("Ag"). Global comparative transcriptomic analyses (RNA-seq) were performed on infected versus non-infected roots.
