Journey to Work (JTW) 2011

This dataset contains a snapshot of commuting patterns for Census day 2011 (Tuesday 9th August). It is a complete enumeration via a self-completion Census form. \n\nThe scope of Journey to Work (JTW) 2011 is employed persons aged 15 years and over, who were employed the week before Census night, and with a workplace in NSW.\n\n\nJourney to Work data may produce slightly different counts to those obtained directly from the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) for the same geographic level due to:\n\n\n* ABS confidentialising process is applied to the data that Transport Performance and Analytics (TPA) purchases (randomisation of small cells)\n* Further validation and adjustment of the data undertaken by Transport Performance and Analytics TPA\n* Imputation of records of incomplete addresses to eliminate locality ‘dump’ codes\n\n\nABS data is used with permission from the Australian Bureau of Statistics\n\n\n

本数据集收录了2011年人口普查日（8月9日，星期二）的通勤模式快照，数据通过自助填报的人口普查表单完成全量统计。

2011年通勤上班（Journey to Work, JTW）数据集的统计范围为：年龄在15岁及以上、普查前一周处于就业状态且工作地点位于新南威尔士州（NSW）的就业人员。

由于以下原因，本通勤上班数据集的统计数值与澳大利亚统计局（Australian Bureau of Statistics, ABS）直接获取的同地理层级数据可能存在细微差异：

* 澳大利亚统计局对交通绩效与分析部门（Transport Performance and Analytics, TPA）采购的数据应用了机密化处理流程（即对小单元格数据进行随机化处理）
* 交通绩效与分析部门（TPA）对数据开展了进一步的验证与调整工作
* 对地址不完整的记录进行插补处理，以消除区域“转储代码”（locality 'dump' codes）
