Role of SKN-1 in dpy-7 and osmotic gene induction

We report the use of mRNA sequencing to analyze the role of SKN-1 in regulation of genes under two conditions, dpy-7 mutants and high osmolarity. Overall design: Total RNA was prepared from gravid young adult Caenorhabditis elegans with three biological replicates and sent to the Yale Center for Genome Analysis for 75 nucleotide single-end sequencing in an Illumina HiSeq 2000. Sequence files were processed with Kallisto to quantify transcripts and Sleuth for differential adundance analysis.
